"We want to thank SamBee (Sam Bee (talk) 13:09, December 6, 2013 (UTC)) on uploading these for our christmas present".

1985 was when Hornby first released their Thomas and friends range. It featured images from the TV series and showed artist's impressions of the train sets. The only model they did not illustrate was Percy, although his model can be seen in the Percy set (originally to be a battery powered set, as it included a battery powered controller (the set was sutitable for mains power control)) as a modified caledonian Pug. Also Buildings, rolling stock and the Hornby Thomas prototype were illustrated in the catalogue. It also states in the catalogue that the engines are not suitable for conversion to Zero 1, although this is critisised by modellers as some of the engines are suitable for Zero 1.
